Since February 2020 the number of foreign visitors coming to Indonesia has decreased. This also has an impact on state revenue in the tourism sector. Coupled with the existence of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) and the closure of access to and out of Indonesia, it has also caused a decrease in state revenue in the tourism sector. The purpose of this research is to find out the marketing communication of temple tourism destinations after the COVID-19 pandemic from a visitor perspective. This research is a research with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by interviewing visitors to temple tourism destinations (Prambanan Temple and Ratu Boko Temple). The conclusion from this research is that post-COVID-19 pandemic marketing communications for temple tourism destinations from the visitor's point of view have not been fully implemented. Because based on visitors, word of mouth is the strongest factor for visitors visiting temple tourist destinations.
2023-12-31T10:11:14+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Pariwisata Pesonahttps://jurnal.unmer.ac.id/index.php/jpp/article/view/11441Sustainable tourism competitiveness analysis for regional economic enhancement in West Java2024-01-19T10:47:44+07:00Muhammad Wahyu Hamijayarestu.suryaman@unpas.ac.idRestu Akbar Suryamanrestu.suryaman@unpas.ac.id
Tourism is an economic sector that has a large multiplier effect on other economic activities, so that for certain areas that have tourism economic potential, it is very important to pay attention to and increase the competitiveness of tourism as a source of regional economic growth. This research uses explanatory analysis and competitiveness mapping methods to identify superior tourism indicators in districts/cities in West Java. The indicators used in this research include the tourism impact index, human resources index, social development index, price competitiveness index and openness indicator. The results of the analysis found that there are only 4 regions that have superior tourism competitiveness in all indicators, namely Cirebon Regency, Indramayu Regency, Sukabumi City and Bekasi City. The development of tourism-supporting infrastructure accelerates city growth by increasing population, economic interaction, and land cover transformation. This study identifies the relationship between tourism development, economic transformation, socio-population, and land cover. The 2016-2021 constant price GDP shift-share analysis is used to understand economic transformation, while the 2020-2021 population growth and population density analysis for social aspects. As a result, the socio-population aspect shows a transformation in Batu City, where manufacturing business has shifted to service business as the main occupation, which has an impact on increasing population growth. In land cover, significant changes are seen in built-up, open, plantation, and forest. This research provides a preliminary analysis of the development of the tourism sector from the economic, socio-population, and land cover aspects in 2016-2022. These transformations reflect dynamic changes in the city's economic and social structure, requiring continuous monitoring for better policies.
2023-12-31T10:11:14+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Pariwisata Pesonahttps://jurnal.unmer.ac.id/index.php/jpp/article/view/8993Analysis of community readiness in the process of revitalizing tourism villages: a case study of Sidoharjo Tourism Village, Yogyakarta2024-01-19T10:47:44+07:00Rina Widiastutirina.widi.astuti@ugm.ac.idNuryuda Irdanarina.widi.astuti@ugm.ac.idBima Adi Gunawanrina.widi.astuti@ugm.ac.idMutiara Maulida Purnaningtyasrina.widi.astuti@ugm.ac.id
Rural tourism has become an alternative concept trend in rural economic development in Indonesia in the last decade. Tourism in rural areas is a business sector expected to improve the economy of rural communities, one of which is in the Sidoharjo Tourism Village located in Kulon Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province. According to data from the Tourism Village Network of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sidoharjo Tourism Village is a tourism village with a developing category because of its diverse attractions. However, initial observations show that Sidoharjo as a tourism village product has not fully fulfilled the elements of developing a tourism village ecosystem with a developing category listed in the 2021 Tourism Village Guidelines. Therefore, the revitalization of the Sidoharjo Tourism Village is significant. For that, we need to analyze the readiness of the tourism village ecosystem to support revitalization with the Community Readiness Model approach. Data collection techniques using semi-structured interviews, observation, and literature study. The study's results revealed that the people of Sidoharjo were in the pre-planning stage. This result shows that the residents of Sidoharjo are not ready to support the revitalization of the Sidoharjo Tourism Village into an advanced tourist village. The analysis results also reveal that the tourism village category developed by the government version does not match the facts at the research location. Sidoharjo Tourism Village has returned to being a tourism village in the pioneer category due to the stagnation in the development of tourism products.
2023-12-31T10:11:14+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Pariwisata Pesonahttps://jurnal.unmer.ac.id/index.php/jpp/article/view/8965A case study of training and development program in the hotel industry of Malang2024-01-19T10:47:44+07:00Khoirul Anam22102081037@unisma.ac.idSiti Asiyahsiti.asiyah291169@gmail.comPardiman -pardiman@unisma.ac.id
Human resources are very important assets for a company in supporting the achievement of goals, so it is a must and necessity for organizations to improve the ability and competence of employees through training and development.
