Perancangan Shopping Mall Terbuka dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Kontemporer di Kota Tomohon

Abstract

Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir kota Tomohon mengalami peningkatan yang selalu konsisten dalam sektor perekonomian dan pariwisata. letak  kota Tomohon yang strategis dan berada di penggunungan dengan suhu udara yang sejuk dan nyaman membuat kota Tomohon sering disebut kota impian. Dengan peningkatan dan lokasi kota Tomohon yang strategis, kota Tomohon menjadi kota yang cocok untuk perancangan shopping mall. Jenis shopping mall yang dipilih dalam perancangan ini adalah shopping mall terbuka. Dengan pendekatan arsitektur kontemporer dapat menghasilkan karakteristik yang kuat baik dari bentuk, fungsi dan struktur, serta dapat beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman sehingga cocok untuk perancangan shopping mall terbuka di kota Tomohon. Perancangan shopping mall terbuka dengan pendekatan arsitektur kontemporer ini dapat menjadi pusat perbelanjaan dan tempat rekreasi baru serta  menjadi icon baru dan shopping mall terbuka pertama di provinsi  Sulawesi Utara. Tujuan perancangan ini adalah untuk mewadahi kebutuhan pengunjung melakukan transaksi jual-beli, dan meningkatkan APD kota Tomohon. Perancangan ini dimulai dari pengumpulan data, analisa, dan konsep. Adapun hasil akhir dari perancangan ini yaitu sebuah shopping mall terbuka yang bisa menjadi solusi unutk mewadahi kebutuhan pengunjung dan transaksi jual-beli di kota Tomohon yang semakin meningkat setiap tahun.

In recent years the city of Tomohon has experienced a consistent increase in the economic and tourism sectors. the strategic location of the city of Tomohon and being in the mountains with cool and comfortable air temperatures makes the city of Tomohon often called the city of dreams. With the improvement and strategic location of Tomohon city, Tomohon city is a suitable city for designing shopping malls. The type of shopping mall chosen in this design is an open shopping mall. With a contemporary architectural approach, it can produce strong characteristics in terms of form, function and structure, and can adapt to the times so that it is suitable for the design of an open shopping mall in the city of Tomohon. The design of an open shopping mall with a contemporary architectural approach can become a world center and a nnew recreation area as well as a new icon and the first shopping mall to open in North Sulawesi province. The purpose of this design is to accommodate the needs of visitors to make buying and selling transactions, and increase the APD of the city of Tomohon. This design starts from data collection, analysis, and concepts. The end result of this design is an open shopping mall that can be a solution to accommodate the needs of visitors and buying and selling transactions in the city of Tomohon which are increasing every year.
