Strategi Pengembangan Ekonomi Lokal Berbasis Pemberdayaan UMKM (Studi pada UMKM Tape Singkong di Desa Kenduruan, Kabupaten Pasuruan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat penyebab keberhasilan pengembangan ekonomi lokal di Desa Kenduruan, Kabupaten Pasuruan. Kasus di Desa Kenduruan dapat memberikan inspirasi mengenai model pengembangan ekonomi lokal yang selama ini masih relatif banyak mengalami kegagalan. Berdasarkan pendekatan kualitatif, hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa telah terjadi transformasi kelembagaan ekonomi lokal (kelompok petani) singkong yang mengubah karakteristik masyarakat konservatif ke inovatif berbasis UMKM. Kelembagaan lokal bisa merubah struktur pasar ekonomi lokal yang lebih kompetitif. Pada kondisi pembentukan harga, kelembagaan ekonomi lokal berbasis UMKM di Desa Kenduruan dapat merubah daya tawar masyarakat lokal (petani) menjadi lebih kuat. Kelembagaan ekonomi lokal berbasis UMKM yang berkembang di Desa Kenduruan dapat menginspirasi pentingnya penguatan kewirausahaan di lingkungan masyarakat yang konservatif.References
