Efek jangka panjang emosi anak yang mengalami kekerasan seksual di Balai Rehabilitasi Sosial Anak yang Memerlukan Perlindungan Khusus (BRSAMPK) Naibonat

Abstract


ABSTRACT

The ability to regulate emotions has an important role in social-emotional adjustment an in the quality of social relationships. Traumatic events can harm a child’s basic abilities and have long term effects on development and health. The aim of this research is to investigate the long term emotional effects of victims of sexual violence at BRSAMPK naibonat. The method used in this research is photovoice, namely measuring emotional states during the past week by looking at emotional images then interpreting what emotions where felt during the past week and interpreting the images provided using cartesian analysis. The research subjects were 3 victims of sexual violence who already had children. The result of the first photovoice was that he still felt sad because remembered the incident of harassment he had experienced. Apart from feeling sad, you also still fell disgust, disappointment and humiliation. The result of the second photovoice using caerrtesian analysis found that the external stimulation (sexual harassment) that was felt was seen in the victims behavior such as avoidance, trauma, positive emotions, contemplation, defence mechanism that had been formed because there was support from external factors, namely support from the social environment such as dorm mothers, friendship and family support such as dorm mothers, friendship and family support such as grandmother and biological mother.

ABSTRACT

Kemampuan mengatur emosi memiliki peran penting dalam penyesuaian sosial-emosional dan dalam kualitas dari hubungan sosial, peristiwa traumatik dapat membahayakan kemampuan dasar anak dan memiliki efek jangka panjang pada perkembangan dan Kesehatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menyelidiki bagaimana efek jangka panjang emosi korban kekerasan seksual di BRSAMPK Naibonat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah photovoice yaitu mengukur keadaan emosi selama seminggu yang lalu dengan melihat gambar emosi lalu menginterpretasikan emosi apa yang dirasakan selama seminggu lalu dan menginterpretasi gambar yang diberikan menggunakan analisis cartesian. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 3 korban kekerasan seksual yang telah memiliki anak. Hasil photovoice pertama adalah masih merasakan sedih dikarenakan teringat kejadian pelecehan yang dialami. Selain perasaan sedih juga masih merasakan jijik, kecewa dan terhina. Hasil photovoice yang kedua menggunakan analisis cartesian didapati bahwa rangsangan eksternal (pelecehan seksual) yang dirasakan terlihat pada perilaku korban seperti nampak penghindaran, trauma, emosi positif, perenungan, defense mechanism yang sudah terbentuk karena ada dukungan factor eskternal yaitu dukungan lingkungan sosial seperti ibu asrama, pertemanan dan dukungan keluarga seperti nenek dan ibu kandung.
