Author Guidelines
For authors who wish to publish scientific articles in the TRANSMISI, should follow the guidelines of writing that can be downloaded below:
AUTHOR GUIDELINES :
Articles are submitted in softcopy (Word Document format) using OJS (Open Journal System) via the TRANSMISI Website http:// http://jurnal.unmer.ac.id/index.php/jtmt/ (Register and Online Submissions), e-mail address: [email protected], by referring to the writing format as follows:
Requirements:
- TRANSMISI partners with Turnitin and incoming manuscripts will be checked using Turnitin with an allowable word similarity limit of 20%. Authors must pay attention to these provisions.
- Proof reading will be sent to the author for correspondence in a .doc or .docx file format for checking and correcting writing errors (typographical). To prevent obstruction of publication, proofs must be returned within 7 days. Before submitting, please ensure that the manuscript has been double-checked for spelling and grammar by the author and is consulted by colleagues. The structure of the manuscript has followed the format of the Writing Guidelines, including the division of sub-headings. Bibliography format is in accordance with the Writing Guidelines. All references cited in the text are mentioned in the bibliography, and vice versa. Images are presented in grayscale color, color images are only used if information in the text can be lost without the image. FORMAT OF ARTICLE WRITING
- Manuscripts are written research results written in English and include equations, pictures, tables and diagrams as supporting research results, without sub-chapter numbers. Sub-chapter titles can be written in bold.
- A4 paper size with Times New Roman (TNR) font using an MS Office word processor (word document) that can be edited by the editor.
- Format of article writing:
- The title of the manuscript is written briefly, informative, and represents the research variables. Using TNR15 font, bold 1 space, capitalized in the first letter of each word, with a maximum word count of 14 words.
- The author's name is written without an academic degree with an abbreviated first name, using normal print TNR 12, 1 space and include institution/affiliation for all authors by including the email correspondence of the author.
- Abstracts are written in 1 (one) column using Indonesian and English accompanied by 3-5 keywords related phrases, showing or describing the concept of the article, including scientific names, research topics and special methods, sorted from A to Z. Abstract is an overview General regarding the contents of the manuscript with the provisions of a minimum of 150 words and a maximum of 300 words and typed in 1 (one) space, TNR9 typeface.
- The contents of the manuscript are written in 2 (two) columns using TNR 10 in normal print, 1 space, justified right-left and Subtitles are written using TNR 11 in bold.
- If there is an abbreviation it must be stated its full length at the first mention and it must be consistent.
- The title of the figure/diagram is placed below the image using TNR 10 spaces 1.
- The table title is placed above the table using TNR 10 spaces 1.
- Bibliography is written using TNR 10 with space 1, using the IEEE format. Bibliography and citations should use reference tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, etc.
- Margin format: upper 2.54 cm, bottom 1.48 cm, right 1.35 cm and left 1.35 cm.
- The systematics of writing are as follows:

- Bibliography is suggested to consist of 60% scientific journals published in the last 5 years. Prioritized libraries from research institutes or universities, as well as credible pages and from journals already on ISSN online/ISSN print/DOI/Scopus.
- The writing of article should follow the template TRANSMISI
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
