ANALISA KEMAMPUAN DORONG PADA KENDARAAN HOVERCRAFT UNTUK MENDUKUNG TUGAS OPERASI RAWA TNI AD

Hovercraft merupakan kendaraan amphibious yang bekerja berdasarkan bantalan udara, mampu berjalan di medan daratan dan perairan. Kendaraan ini digerakkan oleh dua sistem, yaitu sistem pengangkat dan sistem pendorong. Sistem pendorong berfungsi untuk menghasilkan gaya dorong yang akan mendorong kendaraan hovercraft melaju. Adapun gaya dorong dipengaruhi oleh putaran mesin, transmisi, putaran poros, desain kipas, kecepatan aliran udara, laju aliran massa, dan debit udara. Metode penelitian ini dilaksanakn dengan cara memvariasikan putaran mesin, yaitu mulai dari putaran 1000 rpm, 1200 rpm, 1400 rpm, 1600 rpm, 1800 rpm, 2000 rpm, 2200 rpm. Hasil dari penelitian dan pengolahan data, diperoleh bahwa semakin tinggi putaran poros, maka semakin besar pula gaya dorong yang di hasilkan. Dimana pada putaran mesin minimum 1000 rpm, putaran poros 436 rpm menghasilkan gaya dorong 11,794 Newton. Sedangkan pada putaran mesin maximu 2200 rpm, putaran poros 1060 rpm menghasilkan gaya dorong sebesar 87,664 Newton.Downloads
