Abstract

Water dispenser adalah alat yang berfungsi untuk mendinginkan dan memanaskan air pada suhu tertentu.Secara garis besar sistem kerja dari water dispenser ini terbagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu sistem refrigerasiyang digunakan untuk keperluan pendinginan air dan sistem pemanasan untuk pemanasan airnya. Umumnyapada water dispenser terdapat dua tangki yang menampung air dingin dan air panas, dimana ditempat itu jugaterjadi proses penyerapan kalor dan pemberian kalor. Jadi dapat dikatakan bahwa hal-hal mengenaiperpindahan panas terjadi disini.Dari hasil perancangan perhitungan perpindahan kalor menyeluruhyang yang difokuskan hanya pada bebanpendinginan saja, ternyata didapat besarnya beban pendinginan total sebesar 135,15 Watt dalam kurun waktu36 menit dengan kapasitas 19 liter.
