VARIASI DIAMETER TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BUCKLING PADA KOLOM BERTINGKAT

Salah satu cara untuk mengurangi defleksi lateral yang terjadi pada sebuah kolom adalah denganmeningkatkan kekakuan kolom. Cara yang digunakan untuk memperbesar kekakuan kolom adalahdengan membuat kolom bertingkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruhvariasi diameter kecil kolom bertingkat terhadap kemampuan menahan defleksi lateral dan perubahanberat yang ditimbulkan dengan peningkatan diameter.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan diameter kecil kolom bertingkat akan meningkatkankekakuan sehingga defleksi lateral berkurang. Tingkat penurunan rasio defleksi yang besar terjadipada kolom bertingkat yang memiliki rasio massa M ≤ 0.8References
