ANALISIS DEFORMASI PANAS PADUAN Co-Cr-Mo SEBAGAI MATERIAL IMPLANT

Pada penilitian ini, dilakukan proses deformasi panas pada fasa gfcc, hasil transformasi dari fasa ehcpdan stcp untuk paduan Co-Cr-Mo yang mengandung Si dan Mn sebagai pengganti Ni. Dalampercobaan dilakukan uji tempa terhadap tiga jenis paduan yaitu Co-Cr-Mo, Co-Cr-Mo-Si dan Co-Cr-Mo-Mn untuk daerah pemanasan awal 1050 oC – 1200 oC selama 30 menit. Sampel hasil tempadikarakterisasi melalui uji XRD, uji EDAX dan uji kekerasan mikro.Dari hasil percobaan ditunjukkan bahwa pembuatan komponen implan ini bisa dilakukan melaluipengerjaan tempa, dengan syarat paduan mempunyai fasa tunggal dengan struktur kisi kristal kubik(fasa gfcc). Fasa tunggal gfccï€ diperoleh melalui pemanasan awal sebelum pengerjaan tempa, semua fasaehcp dan stcp bertranformasi menjadi fasa gfcc.Hasil analisa XRD telah memperlihatkan hal ini. Sampel mengalami kegagalan tempa akibat retakuntuk sampel tanpa penambahan unsur pemadu dan sampel yang mengandung Si. Hasil analisaEDAX menunjukkan bahwa terjadinya retakan diduga akibat terbentuknya fasa stcp dan fasaintermetalik MoSi2. Sedangkan sampel dengan unsur pemadu Mn tidak mengalami retak. Nilaikekerasan turun dengan kenaikan temperatur untuk sampel yang mengandung Mn. Namun Nilaikekerasan meningkat kembali pada 1200 oC untuk sampel tanpa unsur pemadu dan denganpenambahan Si.References
