VARIASI KONSTANTA ELASTIS PIPA FLEKSIBEL PADA GETARAN YANG DIBANGKITKAN SENDIRI DALAM ALIRAN FLUIDA

Fenomena getaran yang dibangkitkan sendiri (self excited vibration) ditimbulkan oleh adanya perubahanluasan penampang aliran akibat adanya jepitan (pinch). Pada suatu nilai tertentu, akan timbul osilasi yangkemudian berkembang menjadi amplitudo yang lebih besar akibat kondisi yang tak stabil dalam aliran saatmelewati daerah jepitan. Metode yang digunakan untuk memunculkan getaran ini adalah metode fixed flowrate yaitu besarnya jepitan diatur sampai terjadi getaran dengan kecepatan aliran tetap. Tujuan penelitianuntuk mengetahui aspek-aspek dan karakteristik dalam aliran fluida yang dapat mengakibatkan terjadinyagetaran yang dibangkitkan sendiri oleh sistem (self-excited vibrations), dengan variasi konstanta elastis pegas(K) dari selang (tube) pada aliran fluida yang mengalami getaran yang dibangkitkan sendiri (self-excitedvibrations). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa getaran yang dibangkitkan sendiri muncul pada kondisialiran kritis yang ditentukan dengan pinch ratio antara 63% s/d 68% pada kapasitas aliran antara15 liter/menit s/d 20 liter/menit. Karakteristik getaran yang muncul menunjukkan peningkatan frekwensitetapi amplitudo getaran berkurang dengan bertambahnya pinch ratio. Rentang frekwensi getaran antaraantara 2 s/d 14 Hz dengan amplitudo ± 0.25 s/d 2.25 mm. Perubahan konstanta pegas dari selangmenunjukkan perubahan yang kurang signifikan terhadap frekwensi getaran yang dihasilkan, tetapimempersempit rentang pinch ratio dimana getaran tersebut muncul.References
