Sampai saat ini, sebagian kendaraan bermotor masih mengandalkan bahan bakar bensin yang berasal dariminyak bumi. Padahal persediaan minyak bumi di dunia semakin menipis. Oleh karenanya perludikembangkan penelitian tentang bahan bakar alternatif khususnya yang berasal dari sumber nabati sepertiAlkohol sehingga mampu untuk selalu diperbaharui. Berdasar pemikiran tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukandengan fokus membandingkan pengaruh pemakaian jenis bahan bakar Alkohol 96%, Premium dan BioPremium terhadap unjuk kerja motor bakar. Hasil pengujian pada motor bakar Honda GX 270 didapatkanbahwa bahan bakar Alkohol 96 % mempunyai efisiensi efektif yang lebih tinggi.References
