ANALISA PERFORMANSI ENGINE CATERPILLAR MODEL 3176 SETELAH PROSES OVERHOULE

Dalam memenuhi target produksi di perusahaan yang menggunakan unit alat berat, maka unit tersebut harus selalu dalam kondisi yang baik. Oleh karena itu perawatan engine sangat di perlukan agar performansi unit selalu terjaga maksimal. Penelitian dilakukan di PT Trakindo Utama Samarinda yang merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang sales dealer dan service merk Caterpillar. Adapun peralatan uji engine menggunakan Dynotest dan peralatan instrumen tambahan. Berdasarkan analisa hasil pengujian performansi engine Caterpillar model 3176 setelah dilakukan proses overhoule pada pemakaian 20.000 jam, didapatkan nilai torsi maksimal sebesar 688 Lb.ft, daya sebesar 265,39 PS serta nilai tekanan efektif rata-rata (BMEP) sebesar 11,6 kg/cm² pada putaran mesin 1.998 rpm.Downloads
