Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the cashless payment system on the purchase interest of IPB Vocational School students, using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) consisting of Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, and Experience variables as independent variables, and Purchase Interest as the dependent variable. The research method uses a quantitative approach with survey techniques, involving a sample of 50 students selected by purposive sampling technique. The regression test results show that simultaneously, the three independent variables have a significant influence on purchase intention. However, partially only the Experience variable has a significant effect, while Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness show no significant effect. This finding indicates that direct experience in using the cashless system plays a greater role in influencing student purchase intention than perceived ease and benefits.
