Abstract

Technology in Indonesia is developing very rapidly, with many new things emerging over time along with technological innovations. People use the Grab application, especially Grab Bike, which is one of the apps that has evolved to make it easier for users to order online motorcycle taxi services. The System Usability Scale (SUS) is used as an effective testing tool that produces accurate and reliable data. Redesign means making updates to an existing device or product. Design Thinking consists of five main steps: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test, which are designed to identify needs in order to improve technology and usage efficiency. The SUS testing initially scored 63.73, after which a redesign was carried out intended to address the problems in the current Grab application. After the redesign stage, the SUS score increased to 70.58. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Grab application is suitable for optimal use according to its function.
