Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is only in Microsoft Word file format. The manuscript is prepared using the JISAD template.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

General Requirements

  1. The manuscript must be written in English or Indonesian
  2. The manuscript must be prepared using the JISAD template
  3. The manuscript length should be between 8 to 10 pages
  4. References should follow the IEEE style, and it is recommended to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero
  5. The manuscript file must be saved in Microsoft Word file format (.doc or .docx)

Manuscript Structure

  1. Title: The title should not exceed 12 words, written concisely and reflecting the main idea of the research.
  2. Abstract: The abstract should contain 150 to 200 words, without citations. It should include the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions or impacts.
  3. Keywords: Include 3 to 5 keywords or phrases.
  4. Section Structure: The manuscript should follow the IMRADC structure: Introduction (I), Method (M), Results and Discussion (RAD), and Conclusion (C).
  5. References: The reference list should contain at least 15 references, with 80% from recent journal articles (within the last 5 years).
  6. Mathematical Equations: Equations should be displayed using Equation or MathType and not as images. Each equation must be numbered.
  7. Figures: Figures should be placed "In Line with Text." Each figure must be numbered and captioned.
  8. Tables: Tables should be presented in table format, not as images. Each table should be numbered and captioned.
