Abstract

Inventory management is one example of how advancements in information technology enhance the efficiency and ease of data processing.A small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) engaged in handicrafts is currently recording inventory manually.This causes recording errors and data that cannot be found.This research aims to create an effective, efficient, and user-friendly web-based system.In system development, Rapid Application Development (RAD) is an approach that involves the phases of requirements planning, prototype design, system development, testing, and implementation.One of the main features of the system is the management of item data, stock items, finished goods, and item mutations.The results of the system testing show that the system can reduce recording errors, speed up data processing, and easily generate inventory reports.Thus, this system is expected to improve the productivity of inventory recording at UMKM.The Workshop.
