 Journal Summary :

EnJourMe (English Journal of Merdeka): Culture, Language, and Teaching of English is a peer-reviewed journal. Founded in 2016 with the registered number ISSN: 2502-5740 (online), provides a forum for the full range of scholarly articles in the field of Culture, Language, and Teaching of English. It is published by Universitas Merdeka Malang. The contents of the journal include analyses, studies, application of theories, research reports, materials development, and reviews. The journal seeks to disseminate research to educators around the world. Authors are encouraged to submit complete, unpublished, original, and full-length articles that are not under review in any other journals. 

The scopes of the journal include the following topic areas:

  • English Literature
  • English Culture
  • English Linguistics
  • English Language Pedagogy
  • Teaching English as a Foreign Language
  • ELT Materials Development and Evaluation
  • English Language Testing and Assessment







Instructions for Author :

This journal accepts articles in the form of analyses, studies, research reports, materials development, and reviews on Culture, Language, and Teaching of English that have never been published anywhere else or submitted for consideration. The manuscript, as well as the contributor's statement of originality, should be submitted in softcopy format using the Open Journal System (OJS) via EnJourMe http://jurnal.unmer.ac.id/index.php/enjourme (register and Online submissions).

Before submission please make sure that your paper is prepared using the journal paper template. Please download and use the MANUSCRIPT TEMPLATE for initial manuscript submission. This will ensure fast processing and publication. Any papers not fulfilling the requirements based on AUTHOR GUIDELINES and REVIEW GUIDELINES will not be processed/ Rejected by the editors before further review.

The manuscripts submitted to EnJourMe will be screened for plagiarism with plagiarism checker tool (turnitin.com). The author must ensure that the author has written the original work fully if the author has used the work and/or words of others who have been quoted correctly, and if indications of plagiarism (above 20%) in the text, then the editor automatically has the right to reject the manuscript.  

In citing the references, it is recommended to use citation tools such as Mendeley and make sure your references are 80% of journal papers before it is published. Please note that the sources cited should at least 80% come from those published in the last 10 years.
