Author Submission & Workflow Guidelines

The publishing process at JTMI follows a structured workflow to maintain scientific quality, transparency, and integrity:

1. Registration & Account Verification

  • Account Setup: Authors must complete the registration form (Google Form/OJS Registration).

  • Account Creation: The Editor creates and verifies the author's account credentials for submission access.

2. Submission & Initial Scope Screening

  • Full Paper Submission: Authors submit their full manuscript via the system.

  • Initial Evaluation: The Editor conducts an initial screening to check alignment with JTMI's scope.

    • If Declined: The decision is communicated to the author via email.

    • If Accepted (In Scope): The Editor issues a publishing invoice, and the author submits proof of payment.

3. Peer-Review Process

  • Reviewer Assignment: The Editor assigns qualified peer reviewers.

  • Review Evaluation: Reviewers evaluate the paper for scientific rigor and quality.

    • Revision Required: If adjustments are needed, the feedback is sent back to the author for manuscript revision.

    • Approved: Once revisions satisfy the reviewer, the paper moves to similarity checking.

4. Plagiarism Screening

  • Similarity Check: The Editor checks the revised manuscript using Turnitin.

    • Similarity > 20%: The manuscript is returned to the author for further revision and re-phrasing.

    • Similarity < 20%: The manuscript passes ethical screening and qualifies for acceptance.

5. Finalization & Publication

  • Letter of Acceptance (LoA): The Editor issues the official LoA and sends it to the author via email.

  • Layout & Data Verification: The paper is assigned to the Layout Editor to verify author metadata and perform final typesetting.

  • Article Publication: The finalized article is published online in the designated volume and issue.
