Archiving

EnJourMe (English Journal of Merdeka): Culture, Language, and Teaching of English) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and continued accessibility of all published content. To support this commitment, EnJourMe uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system as its long-term digital preservation service.

LOCKSS provides a distributed archiving system that preserves copies of the journal’s published content across participating archival institutions. The system regularly monitors the integrity of preserved content and can restore damaged or missing content from other preserved copies when necessary. This approach helps ensure that EnJourMe’s scholarly content remains accessible and protected against data loss, technical failure, or disruption to the journal’s primary publishing platform.

EnJourMe authorizes the preservation of its published content through the LOCKSS system and is committed to maintaining appropriate arrangements to support the continued preservation of its digital scholarly record.
