2. Management and Editorial Structure

The management of EnJourMe is divided into editorial governance and administrative/technical operations to ensure rigorous peer review and smooth journal workflow:

  • Editorial Board: Responsible for setting the journal's scope, policies, quality control, peer-review process, and final publishing decisions. The board consists of the Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editors, and International Editorial Advisory Board members comprising qualified scholars and experts in language, literature, culture, and ELT.

  • Managing / Technical Team: Managed by the faculty and administrative team of the Diploma 3 English Program at Universitas Merdeka Malang. The management team handles day-to-day journal operations, copyediting, layout formatting, Open Journal Systems (OJS) technical support, and communication with authors and reviewers.

3. Editorial Independence

The Editorial Board operates with complete editorial independence from the university management, publisher, and funding bodies. Publishing decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, originality, methodologies, and alignment with the journal’s focus and scope. Neither Universitas Merdeka Malang nor any external entity influences editorial decisions regarding submitted manuscripts.

4. Financial and Operational Sustainability

EnJourMe is financially supported by the Diploma 3 English Program and Universitas Merdeka Malang. The journal receives institutional support to ensure sustainable publication cycles, open-access distribution, and digital preservation without compromising academic rigor.
